Georgia

    Georgia is a country located at the intersection of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. It is a part of the Caucasus region, bounded to the west by the Black Sea, to the north and east by Russia, to the south by Turkey and Armenia, and to the southeast by Azerbaijan.  Georgia is a representative democracy governed as a unitary parliamentary republic. Tbilisi is the capital and largest city, home to roughly a quarter of the population.

    Tbilisi is the capital of the country of Georgia. Its cobblestoned old town reflects a long, complicated history, with periods under Persian and Russian rule. Its diverse architecture encompasses Eastern Orthodox churches, ornate art nouveau buildings and Soviet Modernist structures. Looming over it all are Narikala, a reconstructed 4th-century fortress, and Kartlis Deda, an iconic statue of the “Mother of Georgia.

    Gudauri is the largest and highest ski resort in Georgia and it continues to grow at a rapid pace. Mt. Sadzele (3,307 m) is accessed by lifts up to 3,279 m elevation. There are slopes of all difficulty levels for skiing and snowboarding and the slopes are FIS certified. The winter sports resort also lures visitors with its freeriding and heli-skiing opportunities. Large quantities of natural snow make the surrounding peaks on the border between Europe and Asia an ideal territory for powder enthusiasts. The winter sports resort is located on the Kreuz Pass, about 120 km north of Tbilisi. A modern ski resort for all types of skiing has developed here, in the middle of the Caucasus mountains away from mass tourism. Cat skiing, night skiing, cross-country trails, ski tours and snow tubing are also offered in Gudauri.

    Day 1: Arrival: - After arrival in Tbilisi International Airport, once you collect all your luggage and go to "Arrivals" Section of the Airport, our company representative will meet you in the Airport holding a board with your Name written on it. She / He will accompany you to the vehicle and will take you to your hotel to Check-in to your room and rest for a day to get over the jetlag and gather strength until beginning your adventure.

    Day 2: Tbilisi City Tour 10:00-17:00

    After breakfast full day tour in Tbilisi. We will start our tour with visiting The Bridge of peace and beautiful European Park which is situated in the Old Town, from the park we proceed the way by cable car to Narikala Fortress. The fortress was established in the 4th century and considerably expanded over subsequent centuries. Enjoy are spectacular views of the city from the battlements. We will continue exploring the Tbilisi Old Town with Sulfur Baths and Leghvtakhevi Waterfall – this district is called “Abanotubani”. Abanotubani is the place, where according to legend, King Vakhtang Gorgasali’s falcon fell, leading to the discovery of the hot springs and, subsequently the founding of a new capital. Will move to Holy Trinity church of Sameba The Sameba Cathedral is located on Elia Hill, which rises above the left bank of the Mtkvari River in the historic neighborhood of Avlabari District..Back to Tbilisi Hotel & overnight.

     

    Day 3: Ananuri -Gudauri-Kazbegi //Overnight in Gudauri-10:00-18:00 

    After breakfast check-out form a hotel and transfer to Mtiuleti region. On the way to Kazbegi we will visit Ananuri fortress: seat the Dukes of Aragvi and its earliest parts date from the 13th century. The fortress is on the UNESCO Tentative list.  We will continue our tour by visiting Friendship Monument - the monument is a large round stone and concrete structure overlooking the Devil's Valley in the Caucasus Mountains. Thereafter we will visit Gergeti Trinity Church - The Church is situated on the right bank of the river Chkheri (the left tributary of the river Terek).

    Will enjoy with stunning views of Mount Kazbeki, the third highest mountain in Georgia (after Mount Shkhara and Janga).

    Day 4: Free leisure day in Gudauri Ski Resort//Overnight in Gudauri.

     

    Day 5: Departure: After breakfast check-out from a hotel and transfer to Tbilisi International Airport.
